Scholarship for Academic Excellence at SCMHRD
SCMHRD gives merit scholarships under Symbiosis International (Deemed University) policy for all its postgraduate programmes. The Symbiosis Society Foundation offers these scholarships and awards to deserving students.
The scholarship is called the Scholarship for Academic Excellence. It is given to encourage meritorious students and academic excellence.
Who can apply
This scholarship is for female candidates who appear for the University Entrance Tests conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). It is started in memory of Late Ms. Jayatee Deshmukh, a former student of SIU.
The scholarship is funded by her family and administered by the University.
Award details
The scholarship is given to meritorious female candidates who secure the highest rank in the respective entrance examinations conducted by the University.
- One female candidate who tops the SNAP Entrance Test.
- One female candidate who tops amongst the SET/SLAT/SITEEE/SEED Entrance Tests respectively.
Scholarship for IIT Graduates
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has a special scholarship scheme for graduates from Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This is to acknowledge and attract exceptionally talented students from IITs.
Five (5) IIT Graduates who secure admission to MBA programmes of SIU through the SNAP Entrance Test are awarded this scholarship.
